How GSpeech Pricing Works Credits Included, No API Keys

You pay one GSpeech plan. Generation credits sit inside that price. One of the main keys of the GSpeech approach is No API Keys Required — you do not open Google Cloud, OpenAI, or Gemini billing on the side.

Generate Once, Keep and Play: audio is generated in the GSpeech Cloud when a visitor first requests playback, so unread articles do not consume credits. The file is stored in the GSpeech Cloud — not in the WordPress media library — and replayed without a new credit bill. Live public prices: GSpeech pricing.

What GSpeech pricing actually is

What does GSpeech cost?

Published annual: Personal $99.90/year ($9.99/month), Pro $399.90/year ($39.99/month), Business $799.90/year ($79.99/month), Enterprise $1,299.90/year ($129.99/month). Like-for-like annual is $99.90–$1,299.90. That is not monthly rounded to $10 / $130 and multiplied by 12.

Is GSpeech a plugin license or a managed TTS plan?

A GSpeech subscription is a managed SaaS plan, not raw TTS API usage: Unified AI Voice Engine credits (on AI SKUs), GSpeech Cloud storage, caching, Cloud Processing / No Server Load, Cloud Console, players, analytics, and support. It is not a WordPress plugin license that then asks you to paste Google / OpenAI / Gemini keys and pay those providers separately.

How credits work

Are TTS credits included in the GSpeech plan?

Yes. The monthly credit allowance is part of the plan you already pay, along with GSpeech Cloud storage, caching, players, Cloud Console, analytics, and support. There is no extra Google Cloud TTS invoice, no OpenAI usage dashboard, and no Gemini project to fund. No API Keys Required.

What is a credit?

Plans sell credits, not a raw 1:1 character count on every voice. One credit equals one character on Standard / WaveNet (and on machine voices). Premium voices cost more to generate, so they use more credits per character. That is the published ratio — not a hidden fee.

Credits per character across the Unified AI Voice Engine. One credit = one Standard / WaveNet character.
Voice family Credits / character
Standard / WaveNet / machine
Neural2, Journey, News, Studio 1.6×
Gemini Flash / Flash-Lite 2.5×
Chirp 3 HD
OpenAI tts-1 / HD
Gemini Pro

Gemini is billed in tokens — about 25 audio tokens equal one second of speech. We convert that into the character ratio so one credit stays comparable across voices. Example: 1,000 characters of WaveNet is 1,000 credits; the same text on Gemini Pro is 5,000 credits.

Do listens use GSpeech credits?

No. Generate Once, Keep and Play. Audio is generated in the GSpeech Cloud when a visitor first requests playback, so unread articles do not consume generation credits. After the file is stored in the GSpeech Cloud — not in the WordPress media library — visitors can play it unlimited times without a new credit bill. Smart Audio Sync regenerates when the article text changes; that regeneration uses credits again.

What happens if I hit the credit cap?

New generation waits until the period resets, you upgrade, or you add an extra credit package. Already generated files stay in the GSpeech Cloud, still play, and remain available for download. We do not wipe the library because you hit the cap, and we do not claim the player script still loads if the widget host is down.

Can I buy extra credit packages?

Yes. At any time you can add extra credits — monthly or a one-time pack — if the plan allowance is not enough, including for larger clients. This is not a self-serve row on the public table. Contact Us and we set it up. Same answer as the homepage FAQ.

What happens to audio if I downgrade to Free?

Previously generated files remain in the GSpeech Cloud for playback and download from the dashboard, including after a change to the Free plan. You can download your generated .mp3 files at any time. Already generated audio stays playable and is not billed again. Access to new AI generation, translation, and some commercial features follows the current plan. Free uses machine voices for new audio.

What is Personal 100K with AI voices?

Personal is one SKU ($9.99/month or $99.90/year) with a voice-mode toggle. AI voices + 100K credits/month unlocks the Unified AI Voice Engine: OpenAI, Gemini, Google Cloud, Chirp3 HD, Neural2, Polyglot, WaveNet — 300+ voices in 98 languages. The other Personal mode is machine voices + 1M credits/month in 68 languages. Same price. Different engine and cap. On WaveNet, 100K credits is 100K characters; on Gemini Pro the same pool is 20K characters.

Public GSpeech plans as of 9 September 2026. Credits count on new generation only. Live table: gspeech.io/#pricing.
Plan Voices Unified AI Voice Engine, 300+: Google Cloud 230+ (Standard, WaveNet, Neural2, Polyglot, Journey, Studio, News). Gemini ~30 × 3 (Chirp 3 HD, Flash, Pro). OpenAI 11 × 2 (default + HD with custom prompts). Plans sell credits: 1 credit = 1 WaveNet character. Premium voices use more (Flash 2.5×, Pro 5×). Voice Vibes are styles, not extra voice IDs. Languages Credits / month Sites Month Year
Free Machine 68 50K 10 $0 $0
Personal Machine 68 1M 1 $9.99 $99.90
Personal - 2 Unified AI Voice Engine, 300+ 98 100K 1 $9.99 $99.90

Enterprise Unified AI Voice Engine, 300+ 98 5M 10 $129.99 $1,299.90

Headline catalog is 300+ voices across 98 languages. 230+ is the Google Cloud floor (Standard, WaveNet, Neural2, Polyglot, Journey, Studio, News). Gemini adds ~30 voices each for Chirp 3 HD, Flash, and Pro (~30 × 3). OpenAI: 11 default plus OpenAI HD (11 × 2). Voice Vibes are styles, not extra voice IDs. Agency and Corporate SKUs exist above this table — same included-credit model, higher caps.

No API keys, no second TTS invoice

Do I pay Google, OpenAI, or Gemini extra?

No, not for GSpeech commercial voices. Those providers sit inside the Unified AI Voice Engine. You use the GSpeech Cloud Console. One-Click Activation. You do not paste a provider key into WordPress, Joomla, Wix, or Shopify.

How is that different from BYOK plugins?

A BYOK plugin license can look cheaper on a spreadsheet until Google Cloud, OpenAI, or ElevenLabs usage is a second bill — or the “free” player is the visitor’s browser speechSynthesis. GSpeech Personal at $99.90/year already includes generation, GSpeech Cloud storage, caching, players, Cloud Console, analytics, and support. Compare that included stack, then the sticker. GSpeech does not currently include ElevenLabs.

Lifetime and how to buy

Does GSpeech have lifetime pricing?

Yes. Lifetime access has been offered through AppSumo, in addition to monthly and annual plans. See the AppSumo deal page.

Start on free register, then upgrade in the Cloud Console when you need AI voices. Current numbers always win over this article if a SKU changes: gspeech.io/#pricing.

GSpeech pricing FAQ

Short answers Google — and buyers — actually ask.

  • How much is GSpeech Personal per year?

    $99.90/year, or $9.99/month. It is not $120/year. $120 is $9.99 rounded to $10, then × 12.

  • How much is GSpeech Pro per year?

    $399.90/year, or $39.99/month. It is not $480/year.

  • Does GSpeech require API keys?

No. One of the main keys of the GSpeech approach is No API Keys Required. TTS and translation keys are not something you paste into the plugin.

  • Is GSpeech Free really free?

Yes. Free is 50K credits/month, machine voices, 68 languages, up to 10 websites. Commercial AI voices start on Personal 100K credits.

  • Why is AI Personal 100K and machine Personal 1M?

AI voices cost more to generate. Personal lets you pick: 100K credits on the Unified AI Voice Engine, or 1M credits of machine voices, at the same $99.90/year. One credit equals one WaveNet character; premium AI voices use the published ratio.

  • Do all voices use one credit per character?

No. One credit equals one Standard / WaveNet character. Premium voices use more: Neural2 1.6×, Flash 2.5×, Chirp 3×, tts-1 3×, Gemini Pro 5×. Gemini is billed in tokens; we fold that into the ratio. The table is on this page under How credits work.

  • Are credits counted per listen?

No. Generate Once, Keep and Play. Audio is generated in the GSpeech Cloud when a visitor first requests playback, so unread articles do not consume credits. Replays of the stored file do not. A regen after an edit uses credits again.

  • Does GSpeech work without a Google Cloud account?

Yes. Google Cloud, OpenAI, and Gemini on GSpeech are billed inside your GSpeech plan on AI SKUs. No provider account required.

  • Can I get an extra credit package?

Yes. Extra credits are available as a monthly add-on or a one-time pack when the plan cap is not enough — including for larger clients. This is not listed as a public SKU. Contact Us.

  • Can I use GSpeech on WordPress, Wix, and Joomla on one plan?

The same Cloud Console and credit pool apply across supported platforms. Site count follows the plan (Personal = 1 commercial site, Pro = 3, and so on). Credits are counted per account.

The one-sentence model
